A szellemi tőke szerepe és megítélése a magyar vállalatok működésében ; Its title in English: The role and the view of the intellectual capital at the Hungarian firms

A „Versenyben a világgal 2004” kutatás adatbázisán azt vizsgáltam, hogy a szellemi tőke milyen szerepet játszik a magyar vállalatok működésében. Eredményeim szerint az átlagos magyar vezető elméleti ismeretei nemzetközi összehasonlításban igen jók, ám egyénenként igen nagyok az eltérések. A domináns tulajdonos nélküli, illetve állami kézben lévő cégek jó részében nincs meg a megfelelő kultúra a szellemi tőke kezelésére. Létezik egy széles „kvázi-képzett” vállalati vezetői réteg is, amely ismeretei korlátozottak, mérési rendszerük tökéletlen. Ugyanakkor néhány, főként külföldi többségi tulajdonos kezében lévő társaság rendkívül szofisztikált információs rendszerrel bír, amely saját egyedi igényeihez igazodik. ; Based on the data collected in the research program “In competition with the world 2004” I examined the role of the intellectual capital in the functioning of the Hungarian firms. My key findings show that the average theoretical knowledge of the Hungarian managers is better than the international comparison but there are huge differences among them. A big part of the state owned companies and of those without a dominant owner miss the culture of handling the intellectual capital properly. An other wide group of “semi-educated” firms is also existing with limited knowledge and measurement culture. Meanwhile few companies mainly held by major foreign holdings have very sophisticated information systems which concentrate directly on the special needs of the given firm.
